Planning Poker Creation
Initiate a new planning poker session to estimate project tasks. In this step, the Scrum Master sets up a new planning poker session for task estimation. The Scrum Master defines the session details, including project scope, tasks to be estimated, and any specific guidelines for the estimation process. This initial setup ensures that all participants are aligned and ready for the estimation activity.
Participant Invitation
Invite Scrum Master, Players, and Spectators to join the session. Once the session is created, the Scrum Master sends out invitations to the relevant participants. The participants include the Scrum Master (moderator), Players who will provide task estimates, and Spectators who have view-only access. Invitations ensure that everyone is informed and ready to participate in the estimation process.
EstimationProcess
Engage participants in providing estimates for project tasks. During the estimation phase, Players use planning poker cards to provide their estimates for each task. The Scrum Master facilitates the process, ensuring that each task is discussed, and estimates are given without influence from others.
